God - Appeal to human greed (1995)

I'm feeling generous and happy tonight, a rare enough incident, and that's why I'll pop out one more God-album. Here's the remix album featuring tracks off of "The anatomy of addiction". The remixes are performed by Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), Bill Laswell, Justin Broadrick (Godflesh), Lumberjacks (New Kingdom) and Kevin Martin. 36 minutes of good times, enjoy!

God - The anatomy of addiction (1994)

More God for the masses! This continues on the recipe of madness: alto, tenor and baritone saxophones shrieking away, dissonant drumming, waves of droning feedback, fuzzy distorted bass and shouted vocals .. Combine this with the running time of over 70 minutes, and you're in for quite a ride (Don't worry, there's much to discover, it really doesn't get as repetitive as you might think ;). Enjoy!

God - Consumed (1993)

More God .. Five tunes full of bass, saxophones and general mayhem = happy times. Released by UK label Sentrax (I couldn't find a website, so they're probably defunct by now). Oh yeah, this is another live album. Enjoy!

God - Possession (1992)

This is a mix of guitars, acoustic and electric bass, didgeridoo, drums, drum machines, samplers, vocals, saxophones and just about everything else .. so there's like 12 guys playing at the same time? Yes, at times it's like being stuck in Ho Chi Minh city traffic, noisy and chaotic, then there's funky goodness, shouted vocals and a huge groove! It's not easy listening, but very impressive experimentation and one of the most underrated albums of the universe.

God - Loco (1991)

Slow and heavy rhythms, saxophone lines, guttural vocals .. this is a exceptional live album, combining elements of free jazz, alternative rock and various other spices. As I really hate the term "jazzcore", I won't be throwing it around that much, and will stick to recommending this to all open-minded people.
Recorded live at St. Mary's church and released on Pathological Records.

God - Breach birth (1990)

God was a project created by Kevin Martin in the late 80s. Initially, they played live in the UK, much like the projects of Justin. Justin had met Martin by this time and he was responsible for producing the band's first 2 records, Breach Birth and Loco, the latter being a live record. By this time, Justin had joined the band on guitars, replacing Shaun Rogan. As the years went on, the cast grew, and by the time they decided to disband, there was upwards of 10 members.
So .. what's there to say about this? 12" which came out on Situation Two and featured three tracks: "Meat head", "Swine fever" and "Crash victim". Enjoy!
