One of Finland's finest in power electronics, I present you STROM.ec and their second full length "
Neural architect". It's not as harsh as their first, "
Dogs of total order", and I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all. The sound is very crisp, almost clinical in approach. It features ten tracks of excellent power electronics; less aggressive than the precessor, but with a more experimental and hands-on-industrial feel to it. In my opinion
Neural architect is one of STROM.ec's finest works up to date; the combination of rhythmic noise, harsh and distorted vocalisations, crisp and in-your-face industrial "clang & bang" .. it all works like a charm. If you listen to this, and you're not scorching your speakers .. you're not playing it loud enough!
