Jesu - Live in La Locomotive, Paris 03.12.2007

Here's one more live bootleg I haven't seen floating around on the Internet that much. This one features a solid set of five songs with good sound quality. The set list:
Intro/Stanlow
Old year
Conqueror
Silver
Tired of me
    Download
    (54MB/192CBR)

Godflesh - Live from Hell (1989)

There's not too much info on this bootleg around the Internet. It's supposedly from '89, printed in Iraq and features six pictures of Pinhead on the cover. The sound on this bootleg is somewhat abysmal, to put it mildly, and thus only recommended for completionists and collectors.

    The setlist is the following:
    Wound
    Veins
    Christbait rising
    Tiny tears
    Weak flesh
    Avalanche master song
    Straight to your heart
      Download
      (48MB/192CBR)

Justin K. Broadrick on "Red bull music academy" radio show

Meet Justin Broadrick: pioneering musician, guitarist, songwriter, drummer and all around visionary. His trailblazing, incredibly productive recording career most notably includes stints in the formative grindcore band Napalm Death (circa Scum), the pioneering industrial metal band Godflesh, who after some years apart have reformed this year for more mayhem and Jesu, a celebrated experimental rock band that has been fusing his previous endeavors with traces of shoegazing beauty. Not to mention, of course, his various works with the talented Kevin Martin as Techno Animal. Mere paragraphs of uniform text cannot do justice to the lucid landscapes, melancholy majesty and sheer aural ecstacy Broadrick conjures in his mind. Suffice to say you have not listened to the most eloquent, articulate use of a guitar until you have heard the sombre strains of Broadrick's work engraving it's name on every sinew of your body. Go on, I dare you.

It's basically an one hour long interview with musical interludes. Going through a broad spectrum of Justins music, giving insights on the upcoming Hellfest-appearance and generally sounding like a nice chap, I think this is a "must hear"-interview for all interested parties.

      The playlist is the following:
      Final - Little pictures
      Final - The light orchestra
Fall Of Because - Life is easy
      Napalm Death - Scum
      Godflesh - Frail
      Godflesh - Like rats
      Godflesh - Circle of shit
      Godflesh - Mothra
      Ice - X-1
      Techno Animal - Needle park
      Techno Animal - Hell
Curse Of The Golden Vampire - Total annihilation of self
      Tech Level 2 - Whowanseekwar
      Jesu - Deflated
Jesu - End of the road
Pantera - By demons be driven (Biomechanical remix)
      Greymachine - Vultures descend

      Enjoy the interview!

Jesu - Live in Atlanta 16.10.2007

      "Good evening, we're Jesu."

And eight songs later it is over .. This is a good quality live bootleg from Jesu's Atlanta concert. Disregarding a few retarded "MOAR" and "STREETCLEANER"-shouts from the audience, I think this still comes recommended for all those Justin K. Broadrick fanboys&girls. The setlist for the evening:
      Stanlow
      Old year
      Conqueror
      Silver
      Tired of me
      Transfigure
      Friends are evil
      Medicine

Godflesh - Live at Megas (11.12.1988 Birmingham, UK)

Now for a topic very dear to my heart, Justin K. Broadrick and his numerous projects. We'll start with perhaps the first Godflesh live performance catched on tape, the Megas-concert from 1988. Understandably the sound quality is sub par compared to modern standards, but I'd still recommend it to all interested parties. I stumbled upon the original file by accident on the Internet, worked out the setlist and created a cue-file for your convenience. Enjoy!
